Q: Why is it so important to have my web site listed on search engines?
A : Visit any search engine and type in a couple of words like "video games." You will be returned with approximately 2,400,000 related web site results, listed throughout 68 pages. How many of those 2,400,000 results or 68 pages are you going to actually go through? Most web surfers won't even make it past the first page! What does this mean? It means that if our own web site is not listed on the first, or even second page of results, it just won't be found. FYI: Try searching with quotations (" ") around your search word (keyword). This will save you time if you know what you are seeking.

Q: I am in the process of creating my own web site. How do I make it "search engine friendly?"
A : Try to avoid the use of frames within your web site, "dynamically delivered pages", (most often used in database programs), web pages using symbols like ?,&,%,+,$, within the URL, URL's with reference to the CGI bin, and redirections (example would be "Meta Refresh Tags").
All of these act as "stop signs" for search engines. Basically, just keep it as simple as possible, as search engines like simplicity. Feel free to contact us for a free web design proposal toll free 888-378-7791 or visit our
